Bedtime!

Andrew loves his rest. He is really into his bedtime routine. Here he is getting ready to unwind for the night.

Before he goes to bed he likes to sit in his chair. First he has to remove his stuffed animals.

It takes a few tries before he can hoist himself up.

After this he goes into his crib and shouts "teeth" until I bring in his tooth brush. Once I bring that in he lays down and fake sleeps until I pretend I am leaving. Then he gets up, laughs and we brush his teeth, which he loves. After this he shouts "night, night" and he is gone.

Andrew decided to take advantage of the warm weather and kick his ball around at the park.

Nana and AMJ visit

This weekend we got a visit from AMJ and Nana. Andrew was thrilled to see them and then they started bring out gifts.

Friday the 13th

Andrew accompanied John and me to Ikea. He liked riding in the little cart and holding a roll of wrapping paper for me. The low point of the day is when he pointed at a ten year old boy and exclaimed "baby!" When you are a kid there is nothing worse than being called a baby, especially by an actual baby.

His favorite part of the day was sharing an ice cream cone.

After we got home we met up with Pop-Pop and Mimi for our friday night dinner. We met up at AW Schucks which is great for Andrew because he loves the pickles there. They also serve "brocci" which is his favorite.

He prefers to feed himself these days.

Spring-like weather

Andrew and I had a great day taking advantage of the unusually warm weather. We were able to play out side blowing "bubbos" and then stopped by the park for some swinging.

Andrew's new chair

Pop pop and Mimi got Andrew his very own chair for Christmas 07. He is finally big enough to sit in it. Here he is testing it out.

Perfect for watching morning cartoons.

He sat still for about one minute before moving the chair all around the room and chasing the dog with it.

Going to Grandmom's house

While John and I celebrated our five year anniversary last weekend Andrew decided to head over to Grandmom and Grandpop's house.

Andrew thinks Grandmom has the best cabinets. He took everything out of them and then climbed in. He needed a quiet place where he could think.
