Celebration

Andrew had a rockin' Sunday partying with friends at a park at the beach. He was there to celebrate Greyson's first b-day and had a wonderful time.

It was hot but breezy enough to fly a kite.

The birthday boy.
Greeting his pal Henry.

Real men say hello with hugs.
Andrew loves bubbles but he doesn't have the hang of it yet. Instead of blowing them he just puts the wand in his mouth.
It wasn't all fun and games though. He was very concerned with making sure that everyone had their ice needs met.
Again with the ice.

Going for a walk with Daddy.Picking up shells for Mommy.

Gently reminding us that it was nap time.

Ready to get home and hit the hay.

Baby bash!

As if "backpack's" visit wasn't exciting enough, when Andrew woke up from his nap on Saturday he discovered that his old pal Morris was over for a visit!

Morris!

This was the first time that Backpack and Morris had met.

They hit it off!

This is the only pic that we could get of all three of them.

Andrew reading this truck book to Backpack.

The two old friends went out for drinks.

There were high fives all around.

Afterward Andrew went home to recoup from all of this weekends excitement.

Out of Town Guests

Andrew has some friends in town this weekend. So like any good host he wanted to show them some of his favorite spots. First stop--the zoo!

Here he is testing out his sunglasses.

He wore them for a little while.
Here are Kristy and baby Rebekah, or if you are Andrew you can call them "Cookie" and "Backpack"

Bonding over a stuffed giraffe. This was apparently much more interesting than the real giraffes.

Trying to get all three of us in a pic.

Mr. International

Here are some pictures of Andrew modeling an outfit that Mimi picked out for him on one of her trips to China.

Lounging is better in 100% silk.

Pretending to be jet lagged. So very international.

Egg Hunt

Andrew had another great week. He was able to enjoy the warm weather and some friends. He kicked off his weekend with a trip to the zoo with his pal Henry.

Here they are checking out the ducks.

Riding a turtle.

Henry is older so he was very encouraging.

On Sunday Andrew went to an Easter Egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa D's house.

He thought it was super fun.

He had some help finding them even though he watched Grandma "hide" them.

He insisted the eggs were apples.
Night night!
