This morning John and I woke up to a gentle voice calling "Help, help." When I went into Andrew's room this is what I saw.
He had taken his pants off as usual and in an attempt to get rid of his shirt he somehow pulled his legs through the neck of his shirt. At this point he got totally stuck. Like any good parents we took pictures of the situation.

Memorial Day Weekend
When you are Andrew everyday seems like a weekend but he was super excited because Daddy was home for 4 days in a row.
On Sunday he went up to Grandma and Grandpa D's house.
Here he is showing off his newly acquired running skills.
Andrew and Clementine getting a little too close.
Driving his car on the sofa.

Morris is a real daredevil.
Andrew's weekend also included a visit to Grandmom and Grandpop's house where he helped celebrate Grandmom's B-day. He especially enjoyed eating a chocolate cupcake. He is talking non stop and likes to ask "Mommy, what are you doing?" and "Mommy, where are you going?" Most of the time I am not doing anything that would raise these questions but he sounds really cute when he says them. Also he has no concept of volume so everything is just loud.

Andrew's first wedding
Last weekend we drove up to Northern Va for Cassy and Scott's wedding. This was the first time Andrew had been to a wedding so it was important for him to look great. He picked out a very Matlock-esque seersucker suit for the occasion.
Trying to get the party started.
The first night in the hotel was not great. Andrew usually sleeps like a log. We kept him out at Tyson's Corner Mall doing laps to exhaust him. It didn't really work. Instead he woke up @ 4am shouting from his pack and play "DO YOU KNOW MOMMY??" "DO YOU KNOW DADDY??" " DO YOU KNOW NIGHT NIGHT??"
The next day went a lot better. Andrew met up with his old pal Backpack for lunch and then headed back to the hotel to get ready for the big event.
Making an entrance.
Greeting his grandparents.
Greeting a complete stranger.
Working on his tough guy face.

Andrew and Mimi working on some moves.
Andrew only eats about 5 things and they had 2 of them there-- rolls and mac and cheese. He was excited.
Andrew can't wait to go to his next formal event!
A quick peek at Andrew dancing.
Because we are horrible guests who are overly obsessed with our child, we didn't get any good pictures of the wedding. Cassy looked fantastic and we had a great time seeing everyone!

Greek Fest
Andrew decided to check out Greek Fest with his parents ,Grandma and Grandpa D.
Instead he played it totally cool. As if Elmo cruising Granby St in a Mazda is an everyday occurrence.Later Elmo stopped by for a little face time.
We were all stuffing our faces but Andrew was busy chewing up straws. Apparently Greek straws are different /better.
He was very interested in the trucks parked outside. This is his driving face. He is using his arm to shift gears.
I looked out into traffic and see Elmo riding shotgun in a minivan. I thought Andrew was going to lose it based on the reaction his Elmo toothpaste and diapers get.

I guess he is a lot cooler on TV.
