Snowy Day

We have a good bit of snow here and Andrew is super excited about it.

All bundled up and ready to go!
He wasn't really sure what to do when we got outside.
So he just started digging.
We shared some Eskimo kisses, because it seemed appropriate.
Now we are taking a well deserved hot chocolate / Wallace and Gromit break.

Fall

Here are some fall pictures.
Andrew insisted on being The Panda again this year. He liked trick or treating but he liked helping Grandmom pass out candy even more.
He was also in a parade at school.

Here he is snuggling his "babies".
Celebrating Thanksgiving.
We are in full Christmas mode over here. We have decorated the tree, we are baking cookies and we are reading and watching "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". We also have a house guest by the name of "Mr Silly". He is an Elf on the Shelf and has been keeping a watchful eye on Andrew, much to his dismay.

Big Boy

Guess who is finally sleeping in a big boy (toddler) bed??

He is very proud.

Standing on his nightstand so he can yell out the window to his friend across the street.

Is it fall yet?

Andrew has had another great summer and as it is now allegedly fall I will post a recap of the last half of our summer.

Being silly.
We got to go to the beach for another great week with Pop Pop and Mimi.
Andrew loved playing in the sand, but he wasn't very interested in the ocean.

We got to go on bike rides around Bethany.

And play in the sand.

He took swimming lessons.

We also got to go back to the amusement park @ Rehobeth Beach. Andrew loved it.

This kid was super bummed.
We also got to take the ferry from Rehobeth up to Cape May.
Throwing coins in the fountain w/ Nana.

Eating a crab cookie w/ AMJ and Uncle Bill.
He went to a bunch of fabulous birthday parties including, Henry's super hero party.

He played Legos w/ Daddy.
Daddy also drew him some pictures. Including the "round robot from Star Wars".

He started soccer.

He started school.
We went up to Philadelphia for baby Makena's Christining. He was once again showered with gifts. Andrew loved seeing everyone. He also loved running around the city.

This is next to a four story Anthropologie, so Mommy had fun too.

Enjoying the cooler weather.

First macaroon and lemon Pellegrino.

Now was have lots of fall adventures to look forward to!

Andrew's Pals

Andrew has acquired lots of stuffed animals in his three years but he definitely favors these guys. From left to right we have Googie, Teddy Bear Teddy Bear, and Jellybean Crab from the Beanstalk.

He has been saying some pretty funny stuff as of late so I have to put it in here before I forget.

Andrew also has an imaginary girlfriend named Mooshi, and a fictitious "weekend cottage" which is actually our sunroom.

Here's a video of him discussing his gang.

Remember how we went to Rome???

Well here are the photos!

Rome!

We went back in September and Andrew looks so much smaller I can hardly believe it.

Here we are getting ready for Andrew's first flight. I am trying to organize Andrew's stuff.
John is preparing to be with out his Blackberry for a week and a half.
We were nervous but Andrew did really well on the flight.

After a quick flight to NYC , a four hour layover, and a seven hour flight we arrived in Rome and headed to the hotel.

Arrival in Rome.

Andrew took a nap in a funny super tiny Italian crib.

Then it was time to head out.
John's first priority was stopping for coffee.

We did lots of sightseeing.

The Colosseum.

St Peter's
Monte Cassino Abbey

Lots of laughs were shared.

As well as hugs.

Since Aunt Andrea lives in Hawaii, Andrew does not get to see her often. He loved spending time w/ her on the trip.
We also went to Grandpa's home town.

There Andrew got to meet some family members, pick some grapes,

and visit the cemetery. We had some great meals
but I think the best part was the gelato.

Ciao!
