Traveling

Andrew headed down to Charlotte last weekend for his great grandma's 90th birthday. He was very excited to be able to celebrate with her.

He had a great time hanging with Daddy's family and enjoying the great weather. He spent lots for time outside with his new trucks and Grandpa. I don't have any pictures because John and I took advantage of the babysitting services offered by his parents.

Here he is back at the hotel getting ready for bed. This hotel trip was a complete success. Andrew has stayed at a lot of hotels and we have found that getting a suite is well worth it because he lets us sleep when he has his own space..

Racing around.

Back at home Andrew met up with some friends to check out the Charley Harper exhibit at the Virginia Living Museum. Here he is waiting for his friends and mapping out his route.

Andrew and his buddy checking out the newt.

Now the idea behind this lady bug is to get your picture taken inside of it.

He didn't like that.

He loved running all around outside but was sure to have a toy car in hand at all times.

Sitting in a turtle.

The artwork.

We have this book at home but it was much more interesting at the museum.

Andrew picked out a poster for his room.

Inspired to make his own art.

Finished and framed.

FANTASTIC MR. FOX - Official Theatrical Trailer

andrew's first movie

Babyman

In case you have been wondering what Andrew has been up to, here is the latest.

When he isn't busy talking and asking a million questions he likes to play his drums.

Since it has been so cold this winter we have been visiting some indoor attractions like the aquarium.
Before we went he asked us about a thousand times if they would have seahorses.
They did and here they are. Andrew insisted that these seahorses were in "outer space"
He has also welcomed some new friends into his life--babies Dorothy and Ewan.

Andrew loves taking advantage of the warm days we have been having.

Andrew had a great day running around outside at a park w/ Daddy and Grandpa D.

Starting the day off with a big breakfast.

He has also enjoyed running around outside w/ friends.

He took in his first movie.

Getting pumped to see "The Fantastic Mr. Fox"
We all agreed it was fantastic.

Andrew now has a new food that he loves... SOUP!

Soup MUST contain carrots and noodles. Then I basically try to slip in any other veggies I have on hand.

Soup MUST be accompanied by crackers, because dipping is the best part

Soup may be giving mac and cheese a run for it's money. Although I don't think it will ever dethrone pizza in Andrew's heart or palate.
