Little Farmer

One of Andrew's favorite things to do is spend time with his grandparents. He loves them all and of course they all love him a lot as well. This weekend he got to see all three sets since it was a long weekend. Friday kicked the holiday off with a trip up to John's parents house. Andrew helped Grandpa D plant some corn a couple of months ago so he was excited to see the progress it had made.

Here he is cruising out to see his corn.

Admiring his crop.

These days he can't go anywhere without some trucks. Here he is with a dump truck full of dump trucks. Not sure how that would work.

Rolling around in the grass w/ Grandpa and Calvin.

No trip up there would be complete without a stop at the park.(Or a trip to the J Crew outlet for me.)

John and I know that we are lucky to have our parents around to help out with Andrew and he couldn't be more thrilled to be watched by them. Usually when he finds out he is going to one of their houses he asks " You are just going to drop me off, right??? You aren' t coming in, right?" This means "please go away so that I can can spend time with my grandparents without your interference". He recently spent the night at Pop pop and Mimi's house. We went to pick him up the next day and John and I were talking about how we missed him and how we were excited to see him. When we got to their house he was outside playing. As soon as he saw us he started crying and took off running.
